Day 3 — Passions
Time: ~70 min · Goal: find what fuels you.
Values are how you operate. Passions are what energize you. Different question. Today you turn raw energy into named themes.
1. Energy inventory, expanded (15 min)
Return to Day 1’s energy audit. Go deeper on the energizing activities: what about them fuels you? Is it the what (the subject), the how (mode of work), or the who (people involved)?
For each energizing activity (aim for 5):
- Activity: __
- What / how / who? __
- What specifically fuels me: __
- Activity: __
- What / how / who? __
- What specifically fuels me: __

2. The “lose track of time” test (10 min)
List every activity in the past year where you looked up and hours had passed. These flow states reveal where your brain wants to live.

3. Unprompted attention (10 min)
What do you read about, watch, or research when no one is paying you and no one is watching? Your browser history is more honest than your résumé.
subjects: ________
4. The hypothetical (15 min)
You have 5 years and enough money. No external expectations. What would you actually do? Don’t write the heroic version — write the honest one.
what I’d do: ________
What does this reveal about what you’re drawn to?
reveals: ________
5. Themes (20 min)
Look across steps 1–4. Group everything into 3–5 themes. Make them specific to you.
Examples (not yours): building things that work · being in wild places · teaching what I’ve learned · solving puzzles · making people feel seen.
